At InnerVisions Recovery Society, we have had the honour of providing support to tens of thousands of individuals struggling with addiction. We have watched families become whole again and individuals become productive members of society. We run abstinence-based treatment programs for men and women, following the principles of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. In our 29 years of experience we have learned, with confidence, that there is a way out of the loneliness and degradation of addiction.
This is the story of how we met Innervisions:
About 35 years ago when I was in the Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise a member, Kerri Marten asked the club if we could buy a washer & dryer for this place called Innervisions. The house was on Miller Avenue in Coquitlam and the board approved. Some time after that a man with lots of tattoos and a rough voice came to speak to our club and that’s when I first met Billy. We learned all about Billy and his passion for helping men get clean. We also learned a lot of new Words that day. 😂.
Over time we got to know Billy very well and learned more and more how very valuable Innervisions is for our community and for the thousands of men whose lives have been saved by going to Innervisions
We started the annual Chili lunches at Christmas and for our Rotary club this is one of the best things we do each year. According to Billy helping give back to the community is part of the healing for these men. We have had these men come and set up and take down RIBFEST each year. They have helped with the Westhill trail and with the Ivy pull. And oh do they work hard!!!!.
Billy told us that after Max finished college he was joining Innervisions.
Max one of the best tributes to your Dad I think, was last Christmas at the chili lunch your staff told me that you were the best Boss they have ever had.
And so, Max began to tell his story about different men and how Innervisions has changed their lives. Max is so much like his Dad and all who knew Billy were honoured. Innervisons is in good hands with Max at the helm and if you know of anyone who needs help with addiction, please call Innervisions at: 1-877-939-1420
I’m so proud of you Max. Thank you for coming to speak to our Rotary Club and please thank the men who come to help us.

A huge big thank you to Mike Clay for fixing up our 'Rotary Little Lending Library' at Old Orchard Park. You did a great job Mike. If you have any books, please take them down to the 'Little Library' or give them to Gayle and she will make sure they get put in there.
Gayle loaded with 'some' books but please have a look around your home to see if you can add to our 'Little Library'.
Our own AG Glen & Marcia look like they are having a good time at the Rotary International Convention.
Glen said: Stopped in at the 'Days for Girls' booth at the International Convention, and told them all about the great work that U2 are doing in support of this organization.
