PP Susan spoke about the serious condition their daughter Ava had after delivery of their baby son. Their daughter had to have 5 blood transfusions and Susan asked that if you are able, please donate blood to save someone's life. Thank you for sharing this story Susan.
AG Glen was at the Coquitlam Club telling the Belize story and how successful this Global Grant has been for hundreds of citizens of Belize. Our container to Belize will be on it's way soon and the group that is going down to show the teachers how the Chrome books work and how the Rachel system will be so important to their students. Well done Glen, Brian & Al
And Speaking of Containers, the container for Belize was loaded and now ready to head to Belize. Thank you to all who came out to help.
We love our guests and last week Clayton A and Shannon Burnham were there. It is always good to see you both.

Gary did a great job sending out information about Thirsty Thursday's at the Legion, and what a good bunch showed up. Looks like fun !!!

February 22nd - Clean up Heritage Mtn. Blvd - meet at 8:45 at Gallaghers coffee shop in Newport Village. All are welcome.
May 10 - Shoreline Clean-up Help needed - 7-9 AM. Divers will bring up the trash from the inlet and we will take it up to a bin. Neil is waiting for More details from the CanBoat dive team.
Apparently,Metro Vancouver will handle the rubbish removal, once the drylands bins are loaded.
The job is patrolling the Belcarra shoreline south of the dock but also moving debris retrieved ny the dive team from the dock to the bins.
CanBoat (formerly the Canadian Power Squadron) is arranging media packages, so its an opportunity raise our club’s profile.
Date: Saturday May 10
Time: 7:00 plus to get Belcarra parking
Crew size:
Ten would be great but more hands (especially young hands) would be welcome.
