The first Rotary meeting of the year and it seems many are still away. President Alison did a great job running the meeting and we finished up early even with Happy Dollars.
Brian mentioned that their lives will be changing soon as their is a baby coming to the family.
Frank had a birthday end of last month
Peter's bride Cindy is having a birthday & Haleh has been a member of our Rotary Club for 1 year.
Glen, Al, Alan & Cleone spoke about the Rotary International Conference in Calgary. By all accounts it was very worthwhile and some new projects could be in the 'wings'.
Thirsty Thursday was last week. Always a good time to get together with members socially.
The Spirited Book Club met - Not sure what book but I'm guessing the wine was good !!!
July 12 - Clean up of Heritage Mtn. Blvd. Come on out and help make our community a better place to live. Meet at Gallaghers at 8:55am and after you are done, stay around for a coffee.
July 18 - Pie Day at Eagle Ridge Manor. Come out to help Danne serve pie to the seniors.
July 18-20 - RIBFEST. It is coming fast. We need lots more volunteers and especially Cashiers and ID checkers. If you know of anyone that would like to help we would appreciate that.
August 21st - Outbound Exchange Student Addie is leaving for Brazil and inbound exchange student, Victoria is arriving.
Last Sunday Rotary sold 50/50 tickets at our Summer Sundays concert. Thank you to Frank and Glen who came out to sell and to Share.
