NATURAL SUSTAINABLE ETHICAL DELICIOUS

We are dedicated to the highest level of care for the land, our animals, our customers, and the environment.

Their mission is:
We are a certified organic, vertically integrated, no-till, bio-diverse, regenerative farm. We use the land responsibly; giving consideration to the natural ecosystems that we inhabit and cultivate our land sustainably. We grow over 2oo varieties of crops, and offer high quality, nutritious, and flavourful food at accessible prices. You can purchase a membership for our weekly CSA farm boxes, fresh produce, preserves, and baked goods from Our Grocer, and hand-crafted meals at our Sunflower Cafe; with the majority of ingredients coming from our land. We are “certified organic in transition” with FVOPA, and will be fully “certified organic” May 2021.

Here are some photos of their produce and their animals.....I think many from our club will be visiting their farm and restaurant that will open June 1st., 2021.

Heritage Mountain Secondary.....

I'm sure a few of our Rotarians received this letter but wanted to share with you.  This is an amazing opportunity to listen to the Grade 12 Students tell about their journeys.

I do hope many Rotarians will sign up.

January 20, 2021

Greetings from the Woods!

On Wednesday, February 17 each of our senior students will be demonstrating his/her accomplishments in a Capstone Presentation (formerly Grad Transitions) to complete Career Life Connections 12.  We have approximately 300 students who will be ready to speak about their Capstone Project and their future aspirations.  We would like a member of our community to participate in each of the presentation panels. Of course, in this unusual year we are going to do this virtually through Zoom. This is where you come in!

As a community member, we thought you might like to be a panel member for a morning or afternoon.  We plan to have you watch 4 or 5 presentations and will send a feedback sheet in advance so you can make comments.

We are confident that our students will amaze you!  We are pleased to invite you to share this positive experience with us.

Please feel free to extend this invitation to any community member who might be interested.

Please email me igay@sd43.bc.ca by Friday, Feb 7 to let me know if you would be willing to participate on this day (please indicate all day or am or pm).

Thank you for considering this!

Sincerely,

Ingrid Gay, Career Life Connections

Spread a Little LOVE  - Valentines project for Eagle Ridge Manor.
We sent this message out to the community ....
The Rotary Club of Port Moody would like to 'Spread a Little LOVE' for Valentines Day. We would like your help in doing this please. We would like to send these Valentines to Eagle Ridge Manor residents as well as other Seniors we know.
If you could make Valentines with a message of LOVE on it and drop them off at St. James' Well, in Newport Village, on or before January 31st., 2021 that would be great. We know that the residents will be so very grateful for your thoughtfulness.
Thank you so much for your help. Everyone needs a 'Little Love' and during this time it is so needed.

The Box is at the WELL and a huge big THANK YOU to VIDA for making it and CLEONE for delivering it.

A big Thank you to Riley and staff at St. James' Well for letting us use the Well as the drop-off for Valentines.

Spread a Little LOVE - Eagle Ridge Manor......
Thank you to Meghan, Glen & Marcia, Susan, Cleone, Coreen, Gayle, Vida , Kari, and her two friends Shannon & Deirdre and Linda for coming to the Zoom meeting and making Valentines & to Dan G. for dropping off all the Valentines.  It was so much fun just to get together and laugh and share our Valentine Creations.  We do know that 'Hallmark' will be calling on Glen and Marcia for a contract for the amazing Valentines they created. [Well that's what Glen said, lol]
Everyone did a great job and we are certain the Eagle Ridge Manor Residents will be so happy we thought of them.
