Danne Dunlop was given a Certificate of Appreciation signed by Our District Governor, Isabelle Martinez for all of Danne’s great work organizing monthly Pie Day’s at Eagle Ridge Manor, decorating  and organizing Cheer for the Pier,  set up and take down Summer Sundays Music Festival,  etc, Congratulations Danne! 
 
Dan G. reported that Rotary Help has now loaded their 27th container to the Ukraine! Amazing work!!
 
A big group from our club going to Belize to continue with the International Education project.
 
The Environment committee gave a wonderful presentation. Bill spoke on all the recycling our club has done for many of our events including Heritage Mountain cleanup, Search for the Perfect Pint, and of course Ribfest!  Did you know since 2017, 6 metric tonnes,14k lbs of garbage have been recycled at our Ribfest fundraisers?
 
Cleone & Brian W spoke on the great work that has been done on West Hill Trail.  Many nest boxes now have been installed in the park including squirrel, Flicker, Finches, Nuthatch, and bat boxes. Cleone is also working with the ESRAG – Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group 
Victoria spoke on the climate crisis initiatives that our club is involved in including elementary students planting trees.  Climate Change Edu-Kit now being used at a local elementary school and they hope to share with other schools.
