President Rick and the other Rotary Clubs had a booth at the Tri-Cities Chamber event. Thank you for Showcasing Rotary.

Alan Kabatoff was awarded a People in Action Rotarian award from the DG and PP Al presented it to him for all the work he has done for Search for the Perfect Pint and so much more.
Alan is a quiet ‘doer’…… For years now he organizes our Search for the Perfect Pint which is our second largest fundraiser. Although Alan has a full time job, he quietly goes about getting all the breweries and sets up the date and signage with the City each year . He has a posse of people who help him from the club and he brings his friends to help serve the food at the event.
Alan comes to Shred-a-Thon every year and he and his wife Lisa often bring everyone treats. He also always is the last one there to help clean up.
Alan helps put up Christmas lights on the Manor and pull ivy…and always with a smile.
He and Lisa volunteer at RIBFEST each year along with their friends from College Park the community that Alan is involved with.

Gayle got a new camera and took loads of photos, have a look at the October Random photo album

ClubRunner
PP Al had everyone download the 'Club runner App' that we would be able to get all the information we need regarding our Rotary Club and what is going on in our District.
Please check out your 'profile' to make sure all the information is correct and filled in. If you need help, please ask Al or Linda to help.

4 Charter members, Linda, Gary, Gayle & Alan holding the sign that has been in the window of the Well for 20 years. We will have a permanent place for this soon.
Our last meeting at the Well. Thank you to Riley and Spencer for your support for our Rotary Club of Port Moody.

Remember our next meeting is at Icona - 3rd Floor in Sutterbrook, above the liquor store.

President Rick presented PP Alan a gift for how impressed he was that Alan swam his age in laps

StarFish Backpack program back in action. Thank you to Brian for helping out.
The Tri-Cities Rotary Clubs are back again with the Starfish Pack Program. Working with local schools, we deliver weekly boxes of groceries to struggling families ensuring children have enough to eat in order to succeed at school. With support from SD43 and Walmart Canada, we are now serving 250 families in our communities.

So nice to see some new members and 'almost members' to join in and help clean up Heritage Mtn. Blvd. Such a good thing to do for our community and it gets Rotary 'out' in the neighbourhood.
Thanks to those that came. Past member Terry Miller came to help and we were photo bombed by a server from Gallaghers. Fun xoxo
Thanks to Alan, Jinsoo, Bill, Frank, Mike, Joan & President Rick. Terry left before the photo.

Speaker this week will be our very own Victoria Nalgwa doing her Classification talk. Always a favourite!!
Rotary RIPS - come on out and help please.
