Caring for your mental Health during tumultuous times.

Chris Boyd and Brooke from the Coquitlam Club were our guest speakers.
Mental Health & Self Care
1. Know thyself
2. Express & surpress

4. Limit news consumption
5. Focus on what you have control over
6. Create a healthy routine
7. Calm body & shift mind

Both Chris and Brooke did an excellent job in explaining the above points. Thank you for your presentation.
Special guests this week:

Clayton stops in for a coffee and to say hi !!! Always good to see him

Melissa - had her 'interview' to become a member and we all felt she would be amazing.
AND our Guest Speakers - Chris & Brooke.
Darrell spoke about Youth Exchange and now we need to get to work. We have an outbound student from Anmore going to Brazil and now as a Club we need to accept and inbound and looks like either Spain or Brazil. We have had many exchange students in the past, but none for about 10 years. Please could everyone get a Police Check so that you may take this young person out to a game, movie, dinner whatever you choose. We will need host families as well. This student will be going to Heritage Woods and would be with you for 3 months only.
Darrell will set up a committee to help facilitate this.
Here is the form for the Police check. No cost to you or the Club. Please do this for any volunteering for our Rotary Club.

Search for the Perfect Pint 2025 - once again we will state that it was a huge success.
Frank spoke about the members that helped sell 50/50 tickets at SFPP. Thank you to Victoria & George, Susan & Al S and Darcel from Share and Frank. We sold more tickets this year at Search than last year by double. Well done everyone.
Glen is doing an outstanding job with marketing for 50/50 as well as Honey Mustard [Zack] came out and did 2 videos, which were shown at the meeting, about the Starfish program. Well done once again.

President Rick had a 'Sweet' gift for Frank for all his good work and
our President gave out a special 'beer' to Alan K for leading the troops for Search for the Perfect Pint.
BUT the gifts didn't stop there !!!! 2 members got 'egg' containers as again our President gave these out to those 2 members that eat eggs.
Thank you so much to Jin Soo for making an amazing video of our Search for the Perfect Pint. Glen said we had over 2400 views so far, and has a reach well beyond are usual Facebook followers.
