Glen, Brian & Al on Belize Global Grant Follow Up
- Project started 7 years ago with 8 members
- Delivered training to the prisoners over Zoom
- Nine containers have been sent
- 500 individuals have taken the course
- St Martin's School Pilot - Lost two years of education due to Covid - Future project
- Belize Central Prison has taken ownership of the project
- Looking for training content for Rachael like carpentry
- Contributed around 30 thousand USD from the club, plus international funding

We have just launched a video and brochure about the 7 Schools Global Grant. Your club has very generously supported our projects over the years, including this latest GG, and we are most appreciative. We’d like to keep your club updated on developments.

32 Composite Project for SIX beneficiaries
Approval has been given by Rotary Foundation for a Project partnered by two Rotary Clubs in Port Moody, in British Columbia, Canada, to finance a project that is valued at R130,240, and which will benefit the following:-
a) Gladys Williams Red Cross Creche;
b) D.D. Siwisa Primary School, already supplied with nearly 90 desks from Port Moody Club in Canada. Teaching equipment will follow from this project;
c) The (voluntary and charity-supported) GADRA Matric School and Commercial School;
d) Various rural and urban primary schools with “Jungle Gyms”, climbing frames and exercise structures for use in school playgrounds;
e) The St John Society Eye Clinic, to subsidise the costs of spectacles for School-children proving real need for same; and
f) The Boy Scouts Troop, to provide for stimulating extra-mural and manly activities and for training in First-Aid and Rescue techniques.
The funds arrived late in May 2006 and the Final Report made to Foundation before 30 September 2006.
