President Coreen presented Glen with a Paul Harris plus one...
One of our newest member's Neil Nyberg gave a 2 for 1 Classification talk.  Neil is not new to Rotary but we are grateful that he is now is our Rotary Club.  Neil's presentation was witty & informative.   We learned about Engineering, Disaster preparedness, and his love of his wife Donna & Motorcycles and Scotch.
Always a great way to get to know our members.  Thank you Neil

Rotary RIPS (Removes Invasive Plant Species)
Hurray, the rain stopped and 22 people helped Bob and Gayle Carter, the city’s 2022 Environmental Award recipients, rrrriiiipppp out English Ivy in Bert Flinn park on Sunday. We had Juliana from SUCCESS come out with her friends, she brought along students and the teacher from the STEC Development Centre. The students were mostly from Pinetree Secondary School and they were amazing. Jack, from the Interact club knew what to do because he had been before and was very effective. Gayle and Bob’s daughter and son-in-law, Melissa & Rusty gave it their all and we had Bill, Gayle, Wolf and Cleone there from Rotary.  This project was done in partnership with the City of Port Moody. Thanks Angela!
Thanks everyone for helping to restore Bert Flinn Park and bring back its biodiversity!
