Let’s talk turkey!
I don’t know about you, but for me, the idea of Thanksgiving conjures up images of bountiful food, memories of friends and family, as well as the sensation of gratitude. Most people in our lives probably have a similar reaction when considering the holiday.
How about you? What comes to mind when you think about the fourth Thursday in November?
One emotion that is unlikely to occur is the fear associated with the dearth of food in your pantry. However, that is not the case for many fellow Angelenos. Fortunately, you can help!
Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles is helping our friends over at Big Sunday with their Thanksgiving Stuffing Event. All of the members from our club who participated last year had a great time, and you have a chance to join us once again. This is an energetic event that will last for just three hours on the day before Thanksgiving.
Please join fellow members of the Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at the Big Sunday Headquarters located at 6111 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles CA 90038.

When it is all said and done, this event will help feed thousands of hungry and grateful people. Time spent on this project will serve as a reminder to you and the ones you love as to why you belong to Rotary, a service organization.
