Ballona Creek Renaissance - Clean up Project

In partnership with the Ballona Creek Renaissance, the Culver City Interact Club, Rotary Club of Culver City, and Rotary Club of Inglewood, we are looking for volunteers to help keep our local streets clean, as upcoming storms and weather wash the trash and debris on our local street into the watershed, waterways, and ocean –contaminating the habitat, while also bringing harm to the wildlife.

We will help Ballona Creek Renaissance pass out buckets and gloves to the community (so they can use this to clean up) at three (3) pre-designated sites, and will also be participating in cleaning up.

Playa Venice Sunrise Rotarians have been assigned the area in from Mar Vista Family Center on 5075 S. Slauson Avenue.

Come join us this Saturday on April 17, 2021 from 9:00am to Noon, as we will do our part to keep the neighborhood clean of debris and trash. The weather is forecasted to be in the mid 70’s, sunny, nice, and it will be a great day to be outside and socially distanced. Don’t forget to put on some sunscreen, wear your Rotary gear and Face masks!
