Rise against Hunger food packaging

We’re joining hands with the South Bay Sunrise Rotary Club to package food for Rise against Hunger organization (https://www.riseagainsthunger.org/who-we-are/)

We will meet at the Torrance YMCA on Saturday November 16 from 9am to 12noon. Last year, they assembled 26,000 meals during that day!

One of the great things they do with this food is sending it to schools in developing nations.  The parents have an incentive to send their children to school and the children are motivated to go because they know they will get a good meal.  Education is the fastest way to break the cycle of poverty!
