Rise Against Hunger

Our club has an opportunity once again to work with the organization, Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now). Several clubs in our District are coming together on Saturday, February 17th to package non-perishable meals to be delivered to partners in countries around the world.
 
The event will start at 9am and held at the Torrance YMCA, 2900 Sepulveda Bl. If you are interested in attending, please let Juliet DeMoss know. Plan to be at the YMCA by 8:30 as we prepare to start promptly at 9. The packaging is expected to take no more than 3 hours. If you recall, we did this last year at the  Salvation Army college in PV. It was a fun event that did not take much physical effort other than standing for 2-3 hours.
