This year we partnered with San Pedro Rotary Club to host a Prom for Special Needs students. To give them the Prom experience every teenager should be able to experience!

Every quarter our club has committed to volunteering at the L.A. Food Bank and always invite and get help from fellow Rotarians, Interact and Rotoract Clubs

Every year our Rotary District 5280 has a family picnic at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach. Clubs are encourage to participate in the cardboard boat race in the lagoon.

At the beginning of every Rotary year we host a Bon Fire at Dockweiler Beach and invite friends, family and fellow rotarian's to kick off the beginning of our new Rotary year!

This year we provided 45 backpacks with school supplies to the high school, middle school and elementary kids that participate in El Santo Nino Community Centers programs.

Every year our club gives out scholarships to high school students in need. We have a $1,000 scholarhsip that has been donated to our club since we were chartered in 2005 by Koreatown Rotary club and then our club gives out an additional $1,000 and two $500.

Our club has been hosting this event since our club was chartered in 2005. We originally started with 11 families and it has now expanded to over 100. We have formed a partnership with the El Santo Nino Community Center in South Central Los Angeles and have been hosting our event at their center for the children and teens that participate in the day care and after school program. Our club hosts a holiday dinner for the kids and their family to come enjoy together as a family. We have music, raffle prizes, pinatas and a visit from Santa himself with a family picture taken and toys given to all the kids. Each family also leaves the event with a box of non-perishable food to take home.
