9/14/10 Meeting

The Special Guest Speaker for the 9/14 meeting was Dr. Lee Young Jik. Dr. Lee spoke about how lifestyle effects health. He compared the lifestyles of those living in Korea versus those Koreans who live in America. Click on the "More" link below to get more details on the meeting.
After standard meeting protocols were observed, President Gene Ho asked specific members to give a report on the District Picnic and the Cardboard Boat Race.
President Ho then reminded everyone of the upcoming Korea Sister Clubs anniversaries. As mentioned previously, the Junju West Rotary Club 40th Anniversary will be attended by President Gene Ho couple, Mr. Dai Lee couple, and Mr. Hyung Jin Kim. The Pusan Kumjung Rotary Club 30th Anniversary will not be attended by our members; however, we will send a card and flowers to congratulate them.
Dr. Chang was welcomed back from his medical mission trip to North Korea. He gave a brief summary and will give more details later.
Upcoming events are as follows:
Mr. Keun Tokko proceeded with the weekly auction followed by Dr. Chang who imposed fines.
Afterward, Dr. Lee Young Jik spoke to us on lifestyle and its effect on our health. Dr. Alan Kims has worked together with Dr. Lee previously.
