Council on Legislation 2013

Barbara Risher-Welch, Past District Governor of District 5300, and long time member of the Montebello Rotary Club, gave us a glimpse of what goes on at the Rotary Council on Legislation. This event occurs every 3 years and it is a time that Rotary Club gets to present changes to the Rotary "Manual of Procedures." The 5 day conference, held in Chicago, IL, helps Rotary to stay current with the needs of the club around the world and is an important part of Rotary's governance process.
