A beautiful day to celebrate Downey's ongoing high school football rivalry. The club members joined together for a group photo.
Many of our Rotarians supported the Downey Foundation for Educational Opportunities by attending a dinner reception in the American Express Stadium Club at Dignity Health Sports Park at the big game.
It's fun to try new places and due to scheduling the club met La Perla Del Mar and enjoy some delicious Mexican cuisine.
Past President Enrique presented the club with a 100% per member giving award. The award is given to clubs where every member of the club has donated to the Rotary Foundation.
Many Rotarians pitched in to help give away turkeys and all the trimmings, that the club donated to Food Helps for their annual Christmas dinner giveaway.
The BIG event that every Rotarian enjoys is the Children Christmas, where the club invites students chosen by the school district, to meet Santa Claus and receive a gift.
