Lorine Anderson Parks
February 15, 1931 - February 12, 2024

There is too much to say about Lorine. When she made Downey, CA her home in 1969, the community did not know what a "gem" she would be. Her enduring passion for the arts and a life-long poet led her to positions with the Downey Symphonic Society Board, Social & Cultural Editor for the Downey Patriot & Contributor to Rotary District 5280 Newsletter.

In 1988, she broke ground as one of the first female members of our club. For the next 36 years she had near perfect attendance ... and will be remembered for bringing "Sisterhood" to our club.

Rest in eternal peace ..... you will be missed.
