Thanks to Janel and Rob from the Water Replenishment District for joining our club today! Water is life, but we learned that water is also deeply rooted in the founding of our SoCal roots and specifically our Carson, Gardena, and Dominguez communities.
WRD is a groundwater management agency that supports the Central and West Coast Basins. Groundwater alone meets nearly half of the demand for 4 million of us living in South Los Angeles County. Through replenishment, monitoring, cleanup, water recycling, basin modeling, and regional support, WRD protects this precious resource.
