This Week at Our Rotary Meeting: Special Presentation on the Rotary Foundation
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mark Rogo, who presented on the incredible work of the Rotary Foundation—one of the top foundations in the country! With guidance from District Rotary Foundation Committee Chair Karen Greenberg, we learned about the 3 key areas of giving:
- Annual Fund-SHARE (which returns to our district in 3 years!)
- Endowment Fund-SHARE
- PolioPlus Fund
Through the Annual Fund, our district receives District Designation Funds (DDF), which support important initiatives like:
- District Grants for community and vocational projects
- Global Grants for large-scale international efforts
- Global Grant Scholarships
Exciting news for all 55 clubs in our district—District Grants are available to fund projects or events! You can apply for up to $2,000 to make a real difference in our local community.
The Rotary Foundation is all about giving back to the district and clubs, empowering us to create lasting impact.
