Our Carson-Dominguez Rotary Club was honored to host Aex Camacho as our guest speaker at a recent meeting. Alex represents Project Ropa, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit and certified social enterprise with a powerful mission: to reduce waste and restore dignity to those in need by providing clothing and hygiene essentials.
During the presentation, Alex shared the impactful work that Project Ropa is doing in our community, from collecting and distributing clothing to offering hygiene kits to those experiencing homelessness. Alex’s passion for making a difference was evident, and the stories of lives transformed through their efforts were truly inspiring.
We left the meeting with a renewed sense of purpose, eager to explore ways our Rotary Club can support this vital cause. A big thank you to Alex Camacho for enlightening us about the critical work of Project Ropa and for motivating us to continue serving those in need within our community.
