On April 18, 2021, members of the Rotary Club of Carson-Gardena-Dominguez helped their community by picking up trash from the streets of Gardena and from a vacant lot next door to one of the City's popular parks.

In addition to helping keep the City clean, trash left on the streets can end up in storm drains and eventually contaminate local beaches and the ocean.  Our Club is proud to support our community and help maintain the beauty of the City in which we live and work.  Rotarians were joined by Gardena Mayor Tasha Cerda, who is looking forward to the City being able to organize similar events again soon.  The City of Gardena normally holds a community clean-up day annually in September.  CGD Rotary looks forward to continuing to participate when the City determines that it's safe to hold such events again.
