35th Annual Operation Gobble

Operation Gobble is a Thanksgiving assistance program that provides food and grocery gift cards to families in need. The program will serve 625 families and provide an additional 50 grocery gift cards to former foster and homeless youth attending California State University, Dominguez Hills. Operation Gobble is a collaborative effort involving the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), the City of Gardena, CSUDH, and the Harbor and Westside Regional Centers. Together, these partners help identify families and individuals most in need, ensuring they can enjoy a more festive and meaningful holiday season. This event is not open to the general public. All recipients are preapproved. Volunteers should arrive between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. to assist with packing boxes and loading vehicles. Cleanup should start at noon.
