Fundraiser for Bellflower/Los Mochis Sister City Project

On Monday, August 11, 2008, Bellflower Rotary in conjunction with the Bellflower Sister City Association attended a fundraiser at Frantone's Italian Restaurant in Norwalk where 25% of the proceeds from the evenings food purchases would be realized as a donation.  Bellflower Rotary was the founder of the Sister City project with Los Mochis over 50 years ago.  It is now a city function, and a group from Los Mochis will be in Bellflower on October 11th, as part of the annual exchange program.  Several members of Bellflower Rotary are active in the Sister City Association, and have traveled to Los Mochis with the group.
