This year our "Rotary Day of Service" is Saturday, April 11th.
The folks at the Bel Tooren Villa Convalescent Hospital located
on 16910 Woodruff Ave., Bellflower, Ca 90706 need our help.
I am going to find out from Director Mary Helen Gomez on
Monday whether 9 - 11:30 AM or 1:30 - 4 PM are better time
ranges for them.
We would be playing games with them like Bingo, just talking,
or listening. Prizes and gifts would be Lap Blankets($5 at

WalMart), Slipper Socks, Lotions, etc.(no food). They don't
have many guests or day-to-day volunteers there.
Cindy Van Meeveren of the Bellflower volunteer Center said
they would love to have us.
So let's paint some hearts and minds this year for our service day!
