Vision to Learn Program 2018

Announcing this year's Vision to Learn program, one of our club's most popular events!

This collaboration between Vision to Learn, the Beach Cities Health District, the Redondo Beach Unified School District and our Rotary Club will provide free reading glasses for roughly 100 children. At this event we will perform vision screening and several weeks later we will visit local schools to place the glasses on the faces of the children. It's a truly wonderful experience.

The vision screening will take place on Thursday, August 16, 2018 as part of the South Bay Adult School Summer Health Fair.                                                                                                                                                                    

We will work in 2 groups:  Group 1:  7AM to 10:30AM   Group 2: 10:30AM to 2PM.

NOTE: At this point in time we have plenty of volunteers; however, if you would like to participate please let me know because people occasionally need to back out due to other commitments. You can contact me at hock@emedharbor.edu
