Perry Middle School Gardening Project

Next Saturday Sept. 22 Henry Washington at Peary Middle School asked our club to help supervise a group of energetic USC students who are volunteering for work in the school's garden.  Many of you have worked there last year and if you join us Saturday you will be impressed with the positive changes made in the garden.  We need a group of 6 to 12 folks to act as Henry's foremen.  The exact tasks haven't been defined but when we meet he will brief us.  It should be a fun experience working with the middle schoolers and the college kids.  Bring gloves and sun hats.  We will work from 9 to about noon and maybe have lunch together afterward.

Place: Peary Middle School - Park between 160th St and 162nd St, on Brighton Ave. in Gardena (On the north end of Peary Middle School)

Time: 9:00 AM on Saturday Sept. 22

Let me know if you intend to make it.  We can arrange carpools from Redondo.
