Once again the Rendezvous Rotary Club will present all Grade 3 Yukon Public School students with A Student's Dictionary & Gazetteer - Canadian Edition.
The Dictionary Project, 2020
Over the past eleven years Rotary Clubs in Whitehorse have been involved with The Dictionary Project. Again this year the Rotary Club of Whitehorse-Rendezvous has taken on the distribution of A Student’s DICTIONARY and Gazetteer, Canadian Edition to all grade three students in Yukon Public Schools.
The Dictionary Project is a non-profit organization, which raises money to provide dictionaries for students in order to assist their teachers in helping them to become active readers, good writers and resourceful learners. We share the belief that a dictionary is an essential tool for a quality education and that a student cannot do his or her best work without one. These dictionaries are for the children to keep and use throughout this school year and beyond.
