ART SHARE A BIG SUCCESS

On April 12th over 170 pieces of art donated by many persons over previous weeks were put up for auction at the Old Firehall. Proceeds from the fundraiser are being directed to Habitat for Humanity Yukon and ShelterBox Canada. Numbers are still being crunched but at this point it appears that $9000 was raised to be split equally to the two beneficiary organizations. A big thank you from the Rendezvous Rotary Club to

Updates/questions:
For donors whose art sold and who contributed 50% of proceeds, cheques will be available week of April 29th. All will be called regarding time and place for pickup.
Tax receipts for those whose combined artwork sold for $100 or more will be contacted to secure your address; tax receipts will be mailed to you later this year from ShelterBox Canada and Habitat for Humanity Yukon . For further questions please call 633-5002
