YuKon Cares and an update on refugee sponsorship

Raquel de Queiroz is a nurse practitioner who is passionate about social justice. Having spent a year abroad working with Doctors Without Borders she has seen the reality of absolute poverty first hand. Raquel currently works in Whitehorse with vulnerable people and people suffering from mental health and addictions issues. She is proud to say that a lot of the homeless in town know her by name.

Raquel will be updating us on YuKon Cares activities and what has motivated her to champion refugee immigration.
