nt Youth) is a Program that recognizes and celebrates the incredible Youth in the Langley community. SASSY seeks to reward Langley students who have excelled in demonstrating outstanding leadership skills in school and/or the community. A joint venture of the four Rotary Clubs in Langley, the SASSY Program has awarded $87,000.00 in bursaries to deserving Langley students since its inception six years ago. This year, 37 exceptional young people applied for the honour of being SASSY recipients.

On Friday May 27th, the club welcomed three of this year's SASSY Award Winners who described their SASSY experience, telling us of their leadership activities in the community and in their schools. Our guest speakers (L-R) were: Cassidy Buchanan, an Aldergrove resident attending the Brookswoods Soccer Academy; Evan Dyce also an Aldergrove resident, who is attending ACSS, and Daniel Lee from Walnut Grove
