Brian Thomasson December 29, 1944 - July 13, 2020
It is with a tremendous sense of loss that we mourn the July 13th passing of Brian Thomasson, the founding father and first president of the Aldergrove Rotary Club.
For 30 years, since our inception, Brian’s warm smile and cheerful “good morning” have helped make our breakfast meetings worth getting out of bed for.
Brian was our go-to person for everything Rotary, having served as Assistant District Governor from 2006 – 2009, Co-District Conference Chair in 2011, President twice and Vice-President from 2015 – 2019. But more than that, he was also a wonderful friend, a generous and caring person and enthusiastic supporter of community projects and activities. We are all better for having known Brian.
