DG1617-10 Ivey Lane Food Pantry RCO conducted a food drive on November 3 & 10, Rotarians contributed 135 food items valued at $326 plus $32 cash. On Nov 25 a Rotarian and Ivey Lane personnel purchased 204 food items for $247.60. On Dec $120 was received from a raffle for food. On Jan 19 & 26, Rotarians contributed 134 food items valued $266. On Mar 8, 198 food items were purchased for $255.41. Difference between tape and reimbursement was a cash contribution of $4.87. Also on Mar 8, 115 food items were purchased with cash contributions for $152. Total food items collected was 786. Cash purchases: DDF $500, contributed cash $156.87; Food items value $592. Total $1,248.87. All food items were placed in Ivey Lane Elementary Food Pantry.
DG1617-17 Interact Scholarship The scholarship was not awarded this since no student qualified for this award. The DDF$1000 was subsequently awarded to our outstanding Global Grant for the Clinic in Chameleon in Honduras.
DG1617-28 RYLA This is the second year that the Rotary Club of Orlando has provided scholarships to RYLA Camp. RYLA, Rotary Youth leadership Award, is a 3 day program teaching team building and leadership and includes numerous activities supporting these areas; ropes course, speech competition, archery, canoeing, evening campfires and more. Awardees were; Rachel Romaine - Boone High School, Eric Tormanen - Boone High School, Reid Marlett - Boone High School, Jackson Partlow - Boone High School, Savannah Partlow - Boone High School, Riley Winslow - Lake Mineola High School. Scholarship cost is $250 each. Total cost of grant was $1,500, DDF was $1,500.
