Everyone’s invited to the 9th annual Blues and Brews for Veterans, a festive night of world class live blues, dancing, local craft beer, wine, food and more to honor and celebrate veterans, active servicemen and women and those who gave their lives in service to our Country.

 

The event, presented by the Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills, returns to El Dorado Hills Nov.10. Doors open at 7PM

 

Back by Popular demand...Cafe R&B. Discovered by Buddy Guy and Ike Turner, Cafe R&B has been wowing audiences world wide since the mid 1990's. The band has shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Etta James, Otis Rush, George Clinton and Parliament, Little Feat and other legendary acts. They are considered one of the most exciting acts in Blues, R&B, and Soul.

Opening the show is local blues legend Gary Mendoza Band. Gary Mendoza and his entourage of seasoned musicians perform a high energy upbeat Chicago-Style Blues. Originating in San Luis Obispo, CA, back in the mid 90's and driven by the sounds of Muddy Waters, Howlin‘ Wolf, Little Walter, and Otis Spann, Gary’s appreciation for these blues legends shines through his rich and soulful vocals and powerhouse backing musicians. This band is the genuine deal that will get you up and dancing.

Mraz Brewing Company will offer craft beer for purchase. West Coast Events will have delicious food plates for purchase.

Presented by The Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills, Blues and Brews for Vets is a fundraiser for local projects and programs that support local Veterans and military support groups.
