Beth Drucker - Go Green Wilmette provided us an informative update regarding environmental issues in the community including ways our club and each of us can take action to protect our environment.

Join us on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm for our First Wednesday evening program.  This month we welcome back Bill Norris,  CIBC Bank to discuss the economy.  Thank you Jacky Boland for sponsoring our speaker.  
 

Other News:

  • Our club will host a clean up event on April 24th - 10 am to 12 noon at the Elmwood Dunes park to recognize Earth Day 2021.  Maureen Barry and George Pearce are helping organize Rotary Club events for the district including ours on the 24th.
  • From Rich Lalley: "Greetings Rotarians. Our shoes have shipped and will be delivered this week to PDG Rick Rivkin’s warehouse in Northbrook. We will have our “shoe pick n pack” operation next Saturday, April 10, at 9:30am. If you are coordinating the delivery of shoes to a beneficiary organization(s), please plan to be there or send a delegate to help with picking and packing and to take your shoes with you."  Saf-T-Gard Warehouse, 205 Huehl Road, Northbrook IL 60062. Masks are required.  Rich Lalley asks volunteers to sign up in advance.  Please contact Corinne McClintic or Ben Ivory if you want to help next Saturday.
