GETTING MECHANIC’S TOOLS INTO THE RIGHT HANDS

For over 30 years the Rotary Club of Schaumburg/ Hoffman Estates and the Schaumburg AM Club have worked together to award over $800,000 in scholarships to local high school and community college applied technology students.  Our objectives;
· Help students overcome barriers to higher education
· Provide a vetted and certified workforce
· Elevate students’ earning potential
· Improve the economic health of our communities

Many students at Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg and Conant High Schools who fall below the poverty line cannot afford tools critical to their career, causing difficulty entering the workforce.

Our Rotary Clubs have identified a key gap in the placement of aspiring auto mechanics going into Applied Tech scholarships, auto union internships or entry level jobs... a TOOLKIT.

By collaborating with Township High School District 211 applied technology departments, area Rotary Clubs, automotive repair shops, auto dealerships and private donors to sponsor these vitally needed TOOLKITS we are changing lives.
