CAC Butterfly Garden Clean-Up
Jun. 20, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Happy spring everyone!! With spring it’s time to turn our attention to the Children’s Advocacy Center and our butterfly garden. The schedule for garden tending for this year will be the third Saturday of every month from April through October from 9 AM to 11 AM unless weather conditions requiring us to change.

We ask that you bring water for yourself, a hat, your garden gloves, and gardening tools you prefer to use. We have a limited supply of tools at the garden. Hand clippers and small trowels are most often used. We do have several regular members that will bring blowers and other heavier equipment.

If you have never been before, please join us- it’s a fun way to get to know your fellow Rotarians and make a big difference in the community. There’s plenty of work for everyone. You don’t need to have gardening experience to contribute. The contribution of paper refuse bags is also always appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing you for the spring cleanup, which is always one of the biggest of the year. So the more hands the better!

The Barn Social Saturday
Jul. 11, 2026 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Volunteers needed to support our sponsorship of The Barn's Social Saturday!

The Barn serves as a second home for many of the area's seniors as well as friends with disabilities. The Village of Schaumburg program provides food, fun and fellowship as well as an opportunity for seniors to help their fellow seniors and community.

Committed to good nutrition for the mind, body and soul, the Barn offers nutritious, affordable meals (suggested donation $4–$6), fellowship through numerous special events and educational programs enlightening seniors on current topics.
