Thank You from Fellowship Housing Program

 

It's no secret that one of the pinnacles of the Fellowship Housing program is budgeting. Our moms adhere to a VERY lean budget -- which means that any extra-curricular activities that their children want to participate in are often put on hold so that the moms can focus on their debt and savings goals. But, we all know the enormous benefits to children being able to explore their passion areas through sports, art, music and beyond. These activities open up opportunities for teamwork, new friendships, self-confidence, and stress reduction.

Thanks to the generous support of the Rotary Club of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates, our children are now able to explore these different activities! It has been a joy seeing which activities the children lean towards, from swim lessons to gymnastics. The excitement of the moms being able to say "Yes!" to something their child wants to pursue is palpable. Thank you to the rotary for making this possible for our children, we cannot wait to see the positive effects that come as a result of your support!!
