Early June saw Rotarians and their families at work on the Spring Clean-up of the Healing Butterfly Garden at the Children's Advocacy Center.

June 22, marked the unveiling of our new moongate archway into the Healing Butterfly Garden at the CAC and Rotarians helping the CAC during their 5K run fundraiser (see message below). Club members manned a vendor booth to sell engraved pavers in the garden.

Additional photos from the garden are posted in the Photo Album section on this home page.

A special thank you to all who participated in this effort.  This garden was established by the Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates in the area behind the CAC building on Illinois Blvd.  It provides a peaceful place for CAC clients, families and staff to gather. It is also available for those in the community to relax and enjoy a spot of beauty in a hectic world.  The club remains involved in the ongoing development and maintenance of the garden.

Pavers are $125 apiece, $100 goes directly to the CAC to support its causes, the $25 covers the engraving in the brick. All people who purchase a brick receive a tax letter from the CAC for their full $100 donation.  Personalize your brick to honor your family, a loved one, your business or even your favorite quote.  The order form for the bricks is available in the Download area on the homepage of this website for anyone interested..
