The scholarship categories are listed below, along with the names of this year’s recipients. Each student receiving a scholarship this year has demonstrated outstanding citizenship in their school and their community. It was a pleasure for our club to host them and their guest on 25 May. Learning about their accomplishment and their aspirations was inspiring for all who saw and heard them.
Dr. James W. Moon Scholarship
These scholarships are for students with at least average academic performance during four years of high school, who have participated in extra-curricular activities and have work experience while attending high school.
Bianca Aguiler, Yemarian Eyob, U’Daria Smith and Lesley Torres
"Uncle Joe" Lesniak Service Above Self Scholarship
These scholarships are for students who have an above-average cumulative grade point averages, have participated in a variety of extracurricular activities, have an exceptional level of community service, and hasve demonstrated leadership potential while attending high school and/or college.

Vocational Scholarship
These scholarships are for students who are pursuing training beyond high school in a vocational area.
Leticia Duenas, Brad Hostetler and Sharon Rice
Transfer Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to assist one student each year who is transferring from a community college to a four-year college or university program after having completed 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) at a community college.
