"Uncle Joe" Lesniak Service Above Self Scholarship

In order to foster and encourage the ideals of service to others and to demonstrate an abiding commitment to education, the Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Rotary Club invites applications for the “Service Above Self” scholarship.

This scholarship is intended for students who have graduated, or will graduate from one of the service area high schools by June 30, 2024, and will attend a four year college or university.  Potential recipients must be a resident of Schaumburg Township, the Village of Schaumburg, or the Village of Hoffman Estates.  William Fremd High School students who have a Hoffman Estates address are eligible for this scholarship.

This program provides an opportunity for qualifying individuals to apply for a financial scholarship which would be used to pursue advanced education of a Baccalaureate Degree or higher.  The primary criterion considered will be the applicant’s exceptional level of COMMUNITY SERVICE.
