Shaumburg Hoffman Estates Rotary

The Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates has developed a sustaining partnership with Ak' Tenamit by sending members to help with dormitory construction, funding eco-friendly composting latrines, collecting much-needed medical and dental supplies, computers, bunk beds, and lockers for the students.

Through this partnership - including the personal interaction we have experienced with the children, volunteers, and staff of Ak' Tenamit - we have become aware of an even greater need for the Rio Dulce region immediately surrounding Ak' Tenamit.
