Park Ridge Rotary Club FY2015 Service Projects

  1. Make a Difference Scholarships: Give college scholarships to those in the Community who are currently making a difference and show future potential.
  2. Donate funds and expertise to get x-ray equipment purchased, shipped, installed, and local health care professional trained in 3rd world countries.
  3. Work the ticket booth for the Taste of Park Ridge community event.
  4. Work the registration booth for the Park Ridge Charity Classic 5K Run.
  5. Two Sunday Suppers: Serve the nutritionally challenged a hot meal.
  6. Avenues Bingo: Quarterly host a bingo and pizza night at the Avenues for the developmentally challenged.
  7. Guatemala Service Project: Build schools and infrastructure in Guatemala.
  8. Polio: Help inoculate children in Nigeria.
  9. Purchase equipment / supplies for the needy e.g. purchase exercise equipment for the Friedman Place.
  10. Sox Baseball Games: Donate tickets to servicemen / women to see a ballgame and raise money for Polio eradication.
  11. Citrus Sales Drive: Sell oranges and grapefruit to raise funds for service projects.
  12. Burkina Faso (West Africa) school program: Provide funds for an Eco-scholars program. One of our Rotarians was raised in this region.
