When people have access to clean water and sanitation, waterborne diseases decrease, children stay healthier and attend school more regularly, and mothers can spend less time carrying water and more time helping their families.

- The quality of the Navajo Nation’s water has been an issue of concern for many years. In 2016, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a report that found that the Navajo Nation’s water contains high levels of uranium and other contaminants.
- The EPA’s report concluded that the Navajo Nation’s water is not safe to drink.
- Navajo are 67 times more likely than other Americans to live without running water or a toilet. That's an injustice.
- 1 in 3 Navajo still don’t have a sink or a toilet. So we bring clean, hot and cold running water to families across New Mexico, Utah and Arizona.
