Mitch’s report from Feed 6 Event: With gratitude to our generous donors and inspired volunteers who joined hands on April 30th, 2022 to package 50,000 nutritious meals for Ukrainian refugees. We wish to especially acknowledge the Rotary Club of Northbrook, the Barrington Breakfast Club Rotary, the Winnetka-Northfield Rotary, and NSBAR for sponsoring production lines and packaging teams. Our gratitude to Aspire Chicago and Envision Unlimited for enthusiastically joining us with teams of their clients and coaches, and to the 150 volunteers who responded with open hearts to the plight of the refugees. And a huge thank-you to the owners and management of the Meridian Banquet & Conference Center which donated their lavish facilities to the event. |
