SERVICE OPPORTUITIES - Rsvp'S REQUIREDBernie's Book Bank The members of Northbrook Rotary are volunteering to sort donated children's books at Bernie's Book Bank (917 W. North Shore Drive, Lake Bluff, IL) on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. The hours are 4:00 - 5:30 PM. Arrangements are being made at a local restaurant for an optional dinner afterwards. If you are fairly new to our club, you may not know about Bernie's. It is a terrific organization that solicits donations of children's books and then distributes them to children in underserved communities. When we volunteer at Bernie's, we are given various tasks to do, all revolving around sorting those books and getting them ready for distribution.
