Once again - we are planning the annual Rotary Installation Dinner and need our club to confirm attendance.
The event is a lovely evening of camaraderie held at the beautiful Sunset Ridge Country Club. The evening starts with cocktails at six, followed by dinner and our program.
We will say goodbye to President Mitch, a welcome Sandy who will fill those shoes. Our newly appointed board will be installed as well.
This is a wonderful evening to include friends and family, but we must confirm tickets this week. PLEASE reach out to Elke.
Rotary Club of Northbrook Board Meeting at Sunset Grill
A big thank you to Mitch Portugal for a wonderful Rotary board meeting at Sunset Foods. Our Outgoing Board President hosted dinner for our last Board meeting at the Sunset Foods Grill. Charlie Corrigan ensured dinner was amazing Thank you, Mitch, for your service!
Our next Satellite meeting is Thursday June 23nd at the Acorn restaurant at 5:30 pm.

JULY
Monday, July 17th - in lieu of our July 27th meeting - We will be volunteering with the Center for Enriched Living (serving adults with developmental disabilities).
That evening, 6:30-8:30, is their “Guys Night” and we will teach them how to prepare and cook a grilled dinner. We will then all enjoy the meal together.
AUGUST
Thursday, August 24th - in lieu of our meeting - we will have bingo/game night with the participants at Center on Deafness (serving deaf adults with disabilities). The participants have very few opportunities to socialize so we will provide them with a fun night of games and pizza!
SEPTEMBER
Thursday, September 28th - in lieu of our meeting that evening - we will participate in Gratitude Generation’s Shop & Share program.
We will be challenged with shopping for a family of 4, three meals a day, for a week with a budget of $60. This is a great program to bring your kids and/or grandchildren!
OCTOBER
Sunday, October 22nd - in lieu of our October 26th meeting - we will be presence at the North Suburban YMCA’s Fall Fest Trunk & Treat with a decorated vehicle and candy for passing out.
