Thursday, July 13th at 5:30 pm at the Acorn restaurant. We will install 2 new members - Tim Schotke and Irwin Friedman. **Please let me know if you are able to attend so we have chairs for everyone. Some details here… more to follow… JULY Monday, July 17th - in lieu of our July 27th meeting - We will be volunteering with the Center for Enriched Living (serving adults with developmental disabilities). That evening, 6:30-8:30, is their “Guys Night” and we will teach them how to prepare and cook a grilled dinner. We will then all enjoy the meal together. AUGUST Thursday, August 24th - Bingo/game night with the participants at Center on Deafness (serving deaf adults with disabilities). The participants have very few opportunities to socialize so we will provide them with a fun night of games and pizza! SEPTEMBER Thursday, September 28th - Participate in Gratitude Generation’s Shop & Share program. We will be challenged with shopping for a family of 4, three meals a day, for a week with a budget of $60. This is a great program to bring your kids and/or grandchildren! OCTOBER Sunday, October 22nd - in lieu of our October 26th meeting - we will be presence at the North Suburban YMCA’s Fall Fest Trunk & Treat with a decorated vehicle and candy for passing out.
