“We appreciate the village’s continued partnership and commitment, and are grateful for the community’s ongoing support to bringing this meaningful project to life,” Freeman said. “We are excited to build on our progress to date and look forward to sharing updates along the way.”
 
Thirteen sub areas of the Northbrook Court site have been designated to develop with their own requirements as the mixed use mall reconstruction launches. Areas closest to Lake Cook Road will be developed first with priority as high end retail areas.
 
Last May’s predevelopment agreement launched with the village and Brookfield Properties identified a gap then of $90 million with an Oct. 30 project estimate of $825 million."

Here is the post-holiday schedule for the coat drive (Door 7 on the East Side of Holy Cross school):
 
Dropoff at Holy Cross either:  
  • Monday 11/27 at 8:30 a.m.
  • Coat Sorting at Holy Cross
  • Monday 11/27 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Note that some of our regular sorters have fixed work schedules and won’t be available.  GBS Interact will be in school.  So for those who are retired or have flexible work schedules, please try to attend.  Our goal is to have 2-3 Rotarians per club for this day. 
  • Organizations that will be supported with Week 3 coats include Wings, PADS of Lake County. 
  • Organizations not yet scheduled through Week 3:   Refugee One (waiting for their needs assessment), Veterans Closet (waiting for their needs assessment), Deerfield Free Store (they asked for distribution in mid-December)
