Invite from Suzanne Gibson to join in at 7 PM on February 16th

As you may be aware, Toastmasters and Rotary have formed an Alliance to benefit both of our organizations.  One of the benefits is the structured leadership development courses offered by Toastmasters. Rotarians are encouraged to invite Toastmasters to join in on club service projects.

On February 16th at 7:00 pm, we are invited to join the Mt. Prospect Toastmasters Club as they Celebrate their founder Ralph C. Smedley's 143rd birthday with a meeting focused on Leadership and featuring speakers who are both Rotarians and Toastmasters. Rotarians and Toastmasters share the values of Leadership and Service.  The event is open to all, registration required at Eventbrite  and click on the green "register" button.

Julia Kaufman, Distinguished Toastmaster and Rotarian, will be one of the speakers on February 16th.  See her video presented at the RI Virtual Convention 2020 under Roatrians you Should Know link.  In this video, Julia Kaufmann presents how she initiated a project to assist Outbound Youth Exchange students in preparing for presenting their presentations to their host clubs.  Julia organized a supportive safe environment for the Outbound students to present their presentation and receive an evaluation from experienced Toastmasters.

Free, but registration is required:
